What is Relevant Leadership College (RLC)?
RLC is a leadership and ministry development program for anyone who feels called to full-time ministry or wants to grow in their faith and leadership in any area of life. Our mission is to help you take meaningful steps from where you are to where God is calling you to be—living life on purpose.
Where is RLC located?
We’re based in Niles, Michigan.
How long is RLC?
RLC is a one-year academic program. Students may be invited to continue into a second year. The full program consists of four semesters, each containing three classes. New enrollment opens each fall semester.
When does the program start?
The Fall Semester begins in the third or fourth week of August. The Spring Semester begins the first full week of January. Open enrollment for Fall ends mid-July.
How long does each semester last?
Each semester typically lasts 15–18 weeks, including one or two scheduled breaks.
What does the schedule look like?
Traditional Students:
Classes: One evening a week, 6:30–9:30 PM (EST)
Practicum: Tuesday–Thursday, 9:30 AM–3:30 PM

Is there an age limit?
RLC is designed primarily for young adults ages 18–25. Older applicants are welcome to apply as non-traditional students if they can commit to the program schedule.
What’s the difference between “traditional” & “non-traditional” students?

Non-Traditional Students are often working professionals focused on spiritual growth and leadership development without the practicum commitment.

Tuition includes materials, technology, and conference/event costs for traditional students. However, students are responsible for purchasing their own books.
